Pressley STEM Foundation Is Now an Official 501(c)(3) Nonprofit
July 27, 2026: Philadelphia, PA We're excited to share some big news: Pressley STEM Foundation has officially received tax-exempt status from the IRS. This means we're now recognized as a public charity, and it's a huge step forward for our mission.
What this means for you:
• Pressley STEM is officially a tax-exempt nonprofit under IRS Section 501(c)(3)
• Any donations you make to us are tax-deductible
• Our nonprofit status took effect on July 17, 2026 — the same day we were incorporated
This recognition came in the form of an official IRS determination letter, dated July 17, 2026.
As required by federal law, we keep our exemption application and determination letter available for anyone who'd like to review them — just reach out and we're happy to share.

Pressley STEM Foundation is a nonprofit based in North Philadelphia dedicated to inspiring and empowering children and teens ages 7–17 through hands-on STEM programs and activities. The organization is best known for its Science Saturday classes, held on the last Saturday of each month and for their annual Boot Camp, offering kids a safe, fun environment to build confidence and creativity while learning.
